December 31, 2009: Harp Technologies completes a successful year 2009.

May 8, 2009: Harp Technologies signs a contract with the ESA.

Harp Technologies has signed a contract with the European Space Agency (ESA) to study advanced internal calibration techniques for Post EPS radiometers. February 19, 2009: Harp Technologies’ web pages renewed.

The web pages of Harp Technologies have been renewed. The contents have been thoroughly updated and new pages have been added. The new pages currently support the English and Finnish languages, and German pages will be published later. The graphic layout of the earlier version of the web pages has been maintained because of the positive feedback it received.

December 15, 2008: Harp Technologies’ founder elevated to Senior Member of the IEEE.

The founder of Harp Technologies, Dr Janne Lahtinen, has been elevated to Senior Member grade of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). The IEEE is the world’s leading professional association for the advancement of technology. The requirements for Senior Member grade include a minimum of ten years of professional practice and a minimum of five years of significant performance. Harp Technologies congratulates its founder on this recognition!

November 1, 2008: Harp Technologies’ engineering team strengthened.

Mr Teemu Ruokokoski, M.Sc., has joined Harp Technologies’ engineering team. Mr. Ruokokoski has extensive experience in microwave, millimetre wave, and electronics design and development, and his competence will be valuable for many ongoing and future customer projects.
